Some new speculations on Vincent's new movie, Miller's Bend. (Excerps from the Message Board posted by Liz!)
This has just recently been posted on the Vincent Kartheiser message board on the IMDB website...
"Vincent's new movie is called "Miller's Bend" its a sci-fi/horror movie. filming is set for summer 2004 in and around Lansing, Michigan. the cast and crew are largely from Michigan but Vinny is one of the lead characters. I haven't talked to him much on the phone, so mostly via email. but he talks to my buddy Jon all the time. Without vinny the movie probably wouldn't have been made. jon and I are trying to convince him to direct the movie...but vinny has been very busy promotiong Dandelion. last I heard he was AWOL visiting family back home in Minn"
Hurrah!! I've tried to find out some more about this new movie and have found the following information from someone who is obviously a PA and part of the film crew; I've cut the text down as most of it does not relate to the film or VK:
"so far for Miller's Bend, I've done copy editing, script proofing, continuity checking, casting research, casting consultant, pre-production cgi advisor, carried equipment on location shooting, researched Music for the soundtrack, requested songs for the soundtrack and obtained some of the songs and put on demo CD, I've done some pre-production 3D animation for the storyboards. often Jon (NB from Nirvanaliz23: I think this is the guy who's wrote the movie) will send me a picture of some actor and asks me what I think of this person for one role or another. Also he's sent me images to look at for poster and advertising."
A little bit worrying was this bit of the text "right now our supporting actor and L.A. contact, Vincent (Kartheiser) is AWOL. Its a real pain he wont answer emails or phone calls. All I've heard so far is one cryptic postcard that says he's having family problems and he'll get in touch soon".
Yay!! :D Some other little bits of trivia about the movie (also from Liz -- Thanks Liz! :D) is that filming begins on July/August of this year, and that Vincen't may be co-producing it (big, new step for him!). Plus, some mention of Collin Farrell investing money on it and Kevin Spacey's company producing it. Just bear in mind that these are NOT YET CONFIRMED, so all this information is merely speculations...
I'll try researching for more information on this and keep all of you posted. :D
And guys! Especially those in Glasglow, don't forget the Prometheus convention tomorrow! :D Go to the Message Boards and discuss it with us (the less lucky group of VK fans).
